IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer

Are you an experienced IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer, we currently have a position available working from our Warrington HQ To assist with business as usual, 2nd & 3rd line IT support with the occasional IT Project support

What we are looking for:

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WiFi, DNS and DHCP
• Custodian of the network estate within Certas which consists of 113 sites across the UK and Ireland
• Working alongside Azure infrastructure engineers to maintain Azure networking technologies
• Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting using Solarwinds
• Provide support for all Telephony and VoIP systems when required
• Relevant Degree or HND in Computer Science/IT Support (or other relevant skills/experience) with experience in an IT support environment.
• Knowledge of Cisco device configuration (meraki switches, routers and WiFi, CCNA Desirable)
• Knowledge of Solarwinds
• Strong network diagnostics skills
• Knowledge of Azure based application delivery controllers
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP-based network and routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP etc.)
• Keen interest to develop themselves in Azure based IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services
